Awesome! I guess I'd better order that season 1 part 2 set already. I only just recently got the first part, but it had fantastic games.

Wow well this is some great news to us Oofuri fans! Hopefully it's more of the same entertaining stuff that was in the 1st series.

I guess there's finally enough manga material for them to do another season. FINALLY!

Glad this property didn't fall by the wayside, as it's the best Baseball anime franchise I've ever seen.

YAY! I'm so excited. I loved Big Windup, and really wanted to see more of what happened to them. Watching Major now, but I really liked Mihashi, Abe, and Hanai from BW.

Awesome news!
It would be awesome if FUNi licsneced it. But I have no idea how well the series did for them... I haven't even bought the series yet, just waiting for the complete season 1 box set... =/

This seriously made my day. Best sports anime of the decade along with Hajime no Ippo for me.

RightStuf just had a sale where you could get both sets for 50% off. That's about how much would be slashed off with a boxset, right?

Fantastic news! I've been pining for a second season ever since I finished watching the fansubs. Hopefully it is going to be the same staff as season one.
I also wonder if the first season sold well enough to warrant FUNi picking up season two. I definitely pitched in and bought both sets day one.

Actually, that sale is STILL going on! (extended till the 21st)
There is just no reason to NOT pick up this great show!

I heard that in the first season of Oofuri only two baseball games are played. Is that true? Did they actually stretch out the games to be longer than the actual real-life sport? That would be pretty crazy.
I'll stick to enjoying Touch, Major, and Cross Game thanks. This is good for fans of Oofuri though.
