When you list the number of volumes for a manga, is that for the Japanese or US release? Maybe you could have a listing for each?
It'd also be nice to find out how many volumes are in oversize reprintings. For example, I picked up 7 volumes of Kodomo no Omocha labeled 'perfect collection (kanzenpan)' and don't know yet if I have the whole story. |

It looks like they list the number of Japanese releases. Having both numbers might be useful.

In manga, I've been solving this problem by listing the tankubon and their release dates (English and Japanese) in the vintage section of the page. Not sure if I'm supposed to do that, but I find it to be the best answer to this. I just don't know a lot of English release dates, so I don't usually enter those.
When I list the number of tankubon, I list how many are out in Japan, because, well, that's how many are currently in existance. Angel Sanctuary had a special edition release thing, and you can see what I did with it in the vintage section of it's page. manga#2928 If I shouldn't be doing that, can someone please tell me now? ^^' Example of the Japanese and English tankubon releases in vintage: manga#2494 |
