Anyone catch the Boom Boom Satellites shows in NYC this week?
My friends and I attended the free superglorious one on Tuesday and they ROCKED. As far as I know, the only anime-linked song in the setlist was "Back on my Feet". I wish I could have gone - sadly I live in Ohio
 They're probably my favorite actual band ever, and the live performance videos of them that I've seen have absolutely blown me away.

It was amazing. I had a blast. They sound great live. I only wish they had done more songs...but hey, it was free.

FYI, US tour mentioned in article about their latest album. Hopefully they'll be back in NYC soon. "To The Loveless comes just months after the January release of best-of compilation 19972007, a precis of the band’s first ten years that seems to draw a line between the old and new BBS. This CD will also be released in the United States during the summer, with a US tour to follow." |

Boom Boom Satellites are back on tour in the US. I caught them as part of the NYAF's superglorious concert Sunday night and they rocked! Was nice to see the whole place getting into their songs.
