Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!!!
A packaging that's now official!!!
Even though I'm not a "real" fan of Soul Eater, the fact that BONES, the composer of Now and Then, Here and There, T.M. revolution, Funimation dub (specifically Laura, Brittany, Tod, and Monica), AND, the best part is...
IT'S 5 DAYS AFTER MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Those reasons are enough to warrent my excitement!
(Truly) Can't wait!

ABOUT TIME.
Been waiting for a street date since the show was licensed.
My shelves just don't feel complete without it.

Pass.
Only reason I'd get this is for the dub, but from the examples they've posted online, it's a rush job with VA's giving performances that don't even fit the characters and naming terms that I don't agree with.
The only other incentive is a Blu-ray release, but low and behold, FUNi again want to stick to the method of wanting to milk DVD's sales first, then release a Blu-ray set down the line.
Thanks but no thanks.
Come back again when you release DVD/Blu-ray versions at the same time.

Talk to the Japanese production companies, then. Their near-irrational fear of reverse importation is what prevents companies like FUNi from doing just that.

Blu-Ray DVD's needed:
Kanon
Air
Air The Movie
When They Cry
^.......... I own all of these except for When they Cry because I am actually waiting to see if it hit Blu-Ray or not.. I am scared to buy because I know as soon as I do then its gonna get a Blu-Ray Release date..... This happened with Samurai Champloo I was planing to buy that on DVD but at the time....................... No Money >_>..... Then as I was about to buy it I went on Amazon and I saw a Blu-Ray release for it, so now I am waiting on that.
I am not really picky about DVD or Blu-Ray but if it released on the same Day then i am gonna pick the Blu-Ray, but I don't like when they release a DVD and then release the same series on Blu-Ray six months later..

DVDs are better than Blu-Rays in my opinion, since they're cheaper and there are more DVDs than there are Blu-Rays.
EDIT: Not to mention I can't play Blu-Ray Discs or 720p/1080p Video files anyways, I have no Blu-Ray Player/PS3, Blu-Ray Drive, or a Computer that can play 720p/1080p video files.

Seriously though, Funi's Blu-Ray efforts so far have been...questionable in quality
Anime should be one of the few genres/mediums that see a TRULY SUBSTANTIAL increase in visual quality when upgraded to Blu-Ray but you certainly don't always see it in Funi's BD stuff.
