I just recently got into this series with the english dub of the first season licensed by Geneon with the voice recording dub of the Ocean group studios and I enjoyed the first season very much
but something has puzzled me about season 2,it says that here on ANN that season 2's english dub is by Animax with a new dub cast,but however my question is is season 2's dub an actual official dub,or is it one of those rare foreign dubs like with the Digimon Singapore dubs from other countries? |

Considering the second series isn't, to my knowledge, licensed by any North American distributors, I would say the latter. Animax is a TV station (which I don't get and therefore know nothing about) that airs various forms of Asian television programs.

Yeah, Kruszer has the right idea. Season 2 has, unfortunately, not been licensed yet for North American release. The Animax dub is for other English speaking areas.
Right now, there are some corporate dealings going on to decide what to do about a lot of Geneon series so you'll have to be patient. Keep track of any announcements here and whomever gets the license, make sure to both E-mail and snail mail them requesting the Ocean Group be brought back. |

ahh, I see,I thought so, thanks a lot,because when I was watching the Animax dub,the voice acting sounded so bland and felt more like a half assed fandub than an official dub,because half the time,the characters (especially Yuji and Shana) Sounded like they were just reading off the script rather than acting in depth with they're characters. |
