Hint No. 3: spoiler[Character B is at this location because he ran away from home 3 months before. No one noticed because only a few people can see this deity. Character B also acts as a mentor to the main character of the series, a middle-school girl who recently became a god herself.]
Hint No. 4: spoiler[It's difficult to perform in public when you're a god. To do so, character B possesses a friend of the main character. This embarrasses her because it's so out of character from how she usually behaves.] I feel like I've really slowed the game down. I didn't expect this quote to be that obscure. So, I'm trying to make up for that with the hints. |

I'll take it.
It's actually from episode 2, when Yurie and crew go looking for Yashima-sama because he's been missing from the shrine for 3 months. Yurie finds him in the world of the gods, where he's banging on a large bell at a temple. Character A is a talking dog. I love the series. I figured the quote would be a little challenging, but I didn't expect it to last a day and a half. Your turn!! |

Since you're quoting from the dub, I'll use the English name.
I think this is from spoiler[Magic User's Club], where spoiler[A is a mysterious being, B is Takeo, and it, of course, happens when Takeo is in the bathroom.] The quote, incidentally, is a spoof of an Aesop's fable that is also referred to in several other anime series, but this is the only one, to my knowledge, that involves toilet paper. |
