Actually... no. This project is still in the planning stages, and its very bad practice to talk about details that aren't finalyzed. I can elaborate on some things though. What we are looking to do is "Motivate our readers to spend time helping children with Cancer." Particularly at camps and hospitals that have mentoring programs or other similar events where people can volunteer to spend some of their time Whit children who have cancer. That's all we're looking for right now, is for people to volunteer information (that could have been a little clearer in the news post) about programs and hospitals that they know of. We thought that it would be best to assemble a list of camps/hospitals/etc.. while we work on other aspects of this, and wait for various other parties to get back to us. Had we waited until every other aspect was finalized, we wouldn't be able to gather the list in time to actually do this in a way that would deliver the most benefit to the kids. I understand that, before asking people to actually volunteer their time, all the details must be made know, but since right now all we're asking for is information... |
