I'm not sure if I am the only one, but whenever I am navigating throughout this website, it takes at least 45 seconds to load pages. It won't even open a blank window, it just freezes and causes my IE to "not respond". I am running on DSL, and so far this website is the only place this is happening. So I am not too certain what the cause of this problem is, but it is really putting a damper on me looking up anything anime related.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback as to what may cause this problem, or if I am SOL here. |

That's very odd.
Do you have the latest version of IE with all the appropriate patches installed? Also, would you be able to try this with another browser to see if the problem continues? |

That is odd indeed... I suppose you might also have some corrupted cached pages or cookies which could cause the issue as well.
You may want to try deleting your temporary internet files and cookies and see if the problem continues. |

Wow, that's a weird problem. A similar thing happened to me before the site got its new server "Skuld." But I think those were just site problems rather than the comptuer I was operating on.
Other than that though, it may possibly be your computer. All I can think of is running a virus scan or checking your cookies settings. Good luck on fixing it! |

Also consider the following:
1) Get anti-virus software. At the very least, pick up Norton Stinger (http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger) and run it on all of your HDs. IDEALLY, you should get a full version of some anti-virus software and run it, but stinger's a nice basic utility. 2) Get anti-spyware software (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) and run it. 3) Go to windows update (https://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) and grab all of the latest security patches for IE and your OS (Win2k/WinXP, I assume). And, optionally, 4) Go to http://www.mozilla.org and download and install Mozilla. And then never use IE again. ;) |

Amen to that. IE can be quite the pain at times, but I've never had any real problems with Mozilla. |

Mozilla.....That's nothing like Netscape is it? Because I remember seeing those two names associated somewhere.
But I'll download it anyway and give it a try, thanks for the heads up. |
