"immediately available" probably means we'll never see 720p Code Geass in the states.

I'd personally call it "delivering content via as many avenues as possible." Which is generally a good thing.

Yea,but it's already showing on AS,AS.com and on youtube. Also there's the chance people in the US won't see it in 720p,so why bother. It's a waste of bandai's money when they could be using it to complete season 2 of the series and at least get season 2 Of Gundam 00 running.

If anything, I'd expect that Bandai is getting paid by Crunchyroll for the streaming rights, not another way around. I don't see how an already-dubbed title being streamed on one additional site could possibly affect Bandai's work on other titles in the least.

And besides people wanking over video bitrates and such, who really cares about 720p? It's the same crazy show no matter what resolution it's in.

True, but for some people who wanted to se it in better resolution intead of the dim ones on the TV broadcasts,it's a lot. However after seeing it online on 720p,people might not buy the DVDs so it's a guessing game in my view.

If the relationship is so important now, why did Crunchyroll illegally upload fansubbed episodes initially? One can say that Crunchyroll has changed, but the fact remains that this series was uploaded illegally before.

Besides, Code Geass is already on AS, on Saturday if I remember right.
