Yes, FUNimation plans to release the prior seventeenish episodes after the rest of the series. There is no need whatsoever for quotes around uncut.

I think GT was a mistake over in Japan. It's not any better here in the U.S.

Ya know what I find amusing? GT was a total flop in Japan, but its been doing quite well outside of Japan

I'd hate to speak for someone else I don't know, but he could just be one of the many, many people who don't give a rat's bottom for GT, certainly not enough to watch both versions of each episode multiple times.
