I'm not sure what to say. I will be looking forward to it but the same studio, Synergy, isn't animating this one which make me worry.

But more Kugimiya Rie, and that's all that matters.

Ouch. What was the problem with the original animators? But I don't care. I'm definitely there!

Maybe the orgional animators had issues with everything being convered by censor trolls that took up half the screen.
I know I would bite an apple if my work gets covered up all the bloody time.

Synergy were great, but it seems the second season is JCStaff. I'm not sure what else they're doing in spring, but at least the three big shows they're doing now will be over.

Creatively, I think the crucial shift isn't so much the change in studio, but rather the change in main personnel. If the arrangement were J.C. Staff + the core team from Season 1, I'd actually expect a result very similar to the original (remember that Shogakukan Productions is still producing the show, so the basic directive should remain the same).
However, with Yoshiaki Iwasaki and Yousuke Kuroda at the helm (they last collaborated on Best Student Council), it'll be interesting to see how the series goes.

The first season got incredibly boring after a while. I hope this season has something different to offer that will keep me interested. If I even bother to check it out, that is.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there two 26 episode seasons out or were those 52 episodes just one season?

Those 52 eps were 1 season. Just they had two story arcs at best the 1st was like Hayate meets Nagi + her friends and the second was the whole Butler Tournament thing.
But yea cool too see season 2 coming out .

This is kind of a shocker, considering that the first season aired at 10:30 AM Sundays. (I know this 'cause I was able to watch it in Japan while eating breakfast.)

This is probably a result of SynergySP not working on it since they seem to have a lock on Hayate's original time slot. JC Staff has to use one of their locked in late night time slots instead.
This is also potentially a really bad sign. Unless the series is supposed to increase the not-for-kids departments at this point, this indicates that they are changing marketing strategies and some other very big potential shifts in production.
