Awesome, and that's not even counting how many people watched it on Nicovideo/youtube/whatever.

I see that boycott petition worked out fantastically.

Yeah, I remembered when I tried to log on and see it, Animate wouldn't even load because I guess the massive influx of streamers had temporarily crippled it.

That's the way it should be. Hopefully KIDS Station will see the error of its ways now that they missed out on major revenue.

Which just goes to show that there's no better advertising than controversy.

Well, sure, being blown the hell up by a nutcase is but a minor price to pay as long as we have comedy...
Seriously though, Kids Station won't air it. I have a feeling that employe safty has higher priorty in this one.

I did not expect to like this, and would have sampled it anyway, but the controversy made it certain that I would watch it. And it's really good. Not at all mean spirited or bigoted, just excellent parody. The writer nails the "personality" of the various countries, and none are singled out as worse than another. The controversy has probably made a hit out of what would have been a fringe show, though I doubt it will change the minds of the Japanese broadcasters. Korea should have been lobbying to get screen time instead of trying to kill the show I want DVDs.

I actually just gave in and watched the first two episodes yesterday. It makes me want to study more history to get each thing they referenced to xD Haha. I love all the countries :3

This is awesome.
It just goes to show how controversy makes everyone interested.
I don't really mind though, it just means more Axis Powers for me.
Now I just have to wait for the figurines and character song CD.

Oh, I totally lost it at "I crossed the border easily with only a stick." And about the time my laughter subsides... "Chibitalia", and off I go again. Haven't laughed so hard in awhile.

Watched both episodes and...am I the only one who didn't find it funny? I get the jokes cause im a history major in uni, but I just didn't find it funny. Maybe I'm just too old for it? I could tell it was def. for younger kids.

Ah, diversity... to each his own. I am definitely not a kid. In fact I've been a fairly fanatic WW II buff in the past. The second episode was less funny to me, but my opinion stands on the first. It's purely a difference in sense of humor, I would say. No wrong or right... my girlfriend sometimes finds things hilarious that I think are just dumb .
