In November, I will be heading to Anaheim CA, for a convention with my work. It's my first time on the west coast, and I know that Anaheim is a really big city with Anime stores. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy "Collectables, figurines, and other neat items" for a decent price?

I'll be staying at either the Anaheim Marriott or the Hilton Anaheim, as the convention is at the Anaheim Marriott and the Hilton Anaheim. I'd like to find a store fairly close to the hotel.

Well, there WAS Anime nuts, but it closed down. There is Anime Japan in fullerton. It's not so far away from where your staying. There is also Borders at the Block of Orange. It's also not far away from where your staying. I can't think of any others....

Well anaheim is a big city, in fact the 10th largest in california now, so it would depend which Anaheim Hotels you are staying at since they could be very near or very far from certain anime stores.

There is a good store called Anime Central pretty close to the Marriott, dont know if its still around though since I haven't been there in a while.[/url]

You are right Johnmason09, it's a large city and it's all depend on which particular Anaheim Hotel that one stays at. There are so many hotels in Anaheim, because it is the place where many conventions are held at, and don't forget Disneyland. Where ever my wife goes, she is always in search for an Amine store.

You know, the OP of this thread is probably back in wherever he/she came from because the convention was in November. But while it's here there's Kinokuniya and Book Off in Costa Mesa.

Welcome GrdAdmiral to Anaheim CA, such a long way from Germany. There are Amine stores around just like the ones that have been mentioned by Fighterholic, but the problem is those stores will not be in close vicinity to the convention area. Hope you found what you were looking for.
