While I enjoy anime to a great degree I have always noticed that they seem to use the same voices in terms of the english dub. On the flip side of things I am (probably gonna get flamed for this) a big fan of comedies such as Robot Chicken and the Veture Bros. After watching alot of both anime and (stupid) Adult Swim Shows I noticed they use what appears to be a very slim pool of Voice Actors. So my question is what Voice actor do you like that usually doesn't do Voice over work for anime would you love to see provide a...well voice. For instance I am a huge fan of James Urbaniak who provides the Roles of Dr. "Rusty Venture", Jonas Venture Jr., and finally the Phantom Limb (the latter being in my opinion a huge step away from his role of Rusty and Impresses me to a large amount) and his inflections could add a nice charm to some anime (I honestly think he would be a great voice for...certain members of Akatsuki). So please I would love to hear some thoughts on who's voice could make anime better and why.

Adam Baldwin (no relation to the Baldwin brothers) he played a man named Jayne Cobb on Firefly, my all time favourite show, in that show he sounds alot like most "cowboy" type characters, but its the fact that he manages to always sound somehow smart, despite saying very stupid things, that makes me laugh, i think he would be a perfect person to play a not-so bad type of character, id absolutely love to see that.

Johnny Depp. I loved Johnny Depp in Corpse Bride and he usually plays some very ecclectic characters, but I think that he would do perfect in the world of anime for certain character, especially villians. It would make me watch dubs more I can tell you that much right now!

I know this one might sound a little strange, but I always thought Cree Summer would be a great voice for an anime character. Before I knew the ins and outs of anime dubbing I always thought she would have been perfect in the lead for Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water. I took a look at the artwork of the character and my first thought was "that's her for sure". But it seems that for some reason that voice actors in mainstream animated shows don't work in anime. Sad

Keanu Reeves has such a wide acting and emotional range that'd he'd be a PERFECT anime VA.
