Yay for more anime on TV with minimal cuts, I say! Hope I can get this channel in the future. I have a feeling they may get some good titles, too. I want subbed music videos!

The founder of ANN is now the founder of an Asian-focused TV station and Movie theatre?
I must, say I'm impressed.
Good luck to you, Justin!

Is this new channel going to broadcast Anime and asian stuff in their Original language, or are they going to follow the path of doom that AnimeNetwork also walks?

The anime will be shown dubbed and subtitled, depending on the title, with ImaginAsian deciding which version to show on a case by case basis. |
Reading is fun!

^^ Justin is not the founder, but he does do a lot of work for them. They're a pretty new company. He also personally picked out the equipment for the theatre.

Went to the website. Nice looking website. Went to save it in my "Favorites" folder. What do I see in the page title line?
"Welcome to...."
They must have spend boucoup bucks for that site, and to have such a rookie tag! Like when I go to look ImaginAsia up in Favorites--I'm going to look under W for "Welcome"!
The Active-X controls are not welcome also, but it doesn't seem to affect browsing if I disallow them.
An all-Asian channel, however, is most welcome. We lost satellite access to TV Japan, so no more Sumo ;-(

I wish we had a channel like this in the UK as we only have JSTV for the Japanese market and for which they charge an obscene amount for subscriptions and it's not on the satellite which most people view satellite TV on here [Astra in case you're wondering] and Phoenix CNE for the Chinese market.

That'd be nice. Maybe they'll get the rights to show Naruto, subbed. I still need to catch on this title, I've only seen the first 9 or 10 eps. Maybe they'll even find a way to air Golion subbed as well.

Much to Justin's chagrin, someone did suggest that at the panel. Although Justin is not a fan of the show, I think that giventhe chance, they would air it.
But who knows what they'd have to go through to get the right to air it?

Live Action GTO. I think it could work very well. You just need to censor the porn a little better.
Now how much is gonna be subbed? How much dubbed? If subbed, can anime get on quick relative to the dvd releases?
