No word on Golgo 13? I believe that's also TV Tokyo, and maybe they'll be able to surpass the slow fansubbers for that show. Then again, I'm not too sure that show had much of a potential of getting licensed.

As for that, no one knows until an American company announces it had distribution rights. These deals are simply between CR and the Japanese companies, meaning no distribution for physical media is acknowledged.

Is it me or does it seem the way fans get their anime is slowly, but surely changing? I don't like streaming, but with a whole list of titles slowly becoming free and legal to watch is quite intriguing to me. Although, this is cutting out the American distributors it is accomplishing what anime fans have desired for many years.

Which means you might as well just burn your money because fansub watchers aren't paying for it, and the Japanese who watch it on TV have a lot more options in their cable bill than just 5 shows a week.

What is this crap, I'd rather then get picked up my a American company and released then put on some stupid website. I see this more of a ruining of the anime show then anything. Yes I download these show on Japanese release subs then I wait till some american company release them but some shows dont get licensed but atleast i've seen them . If this kills the subbing of it on torrent i'm gonna be annoyed.

That bites. I really hope that an R1 company picks these titles up despite losing the internet rights.

It's not gonna be as good as a fansubed version, so I'll stick to those. The video/audio alone will make me do that.

As I'm not a hypocrite I shall be watching Skip Beat! on CR a week after they air in Japan (maybe even pay if I really feel like watching it NOW).
I said I would if they brought out something I'd actually want to watch.

Until Crunchyroll really hits the same (or better) quality as Hulu I really can't stand streaming it over watching fansubs.
And I really don't want to risk paying for it unless the episodes are true DVD quality (i have no idea how good their downloads are).

Their downloads for Druaga were terrible.

Correction. Viz released volume 15 of Skip Beat! this month, not volume 11.
