Sorry... this article just reiterated that the entire new Slayers will be half a year (26), and we've already had 13. It's pretty much two separate halves of a full series, a miniature version of what both Code Geass and Gundam 00 did.

Revolution was good but I hope they down play Pokota or turn him back to a human real early in the new series, because his digimon looks really grate me at times, although he is pretty funny when he argues with Lina.

Nice news... But when will we hear any news of a US distributor??
I'm still praying for FUNimation to pick up Revolution as well as Evolution-R AND hire as many of the original CPM VA's as possible. If Lisa Ortiz (I'm such a fan of hers) does not return as Lina, I will be very, very sad.
I'm so intent on supporting the official US release that I've only watched Ep 1 of Revolution on fansub (To see if the quality lives up to expectations after so many years) and am patiently waiting for a distributor to watch the remaining episodes on DVD.

Cool! Slayers is really fun! So maybe this is the beginning of 3 New Seasons...
Isn't Lisa allready working for Funimation doing One Piece? They have her listed as Tony Tony Chopper, unless that was the 4Kids dub. On her website, it says she is currently on Winx Club (which is 4Kids) so maybe the previous statement is true.
Well Funimation did get Crispin Freeman (and the rest of the cast) for Hellsing Ultimate, so maybe they can get him to get Lisa in it.
Just hope we get this ASAP!

You know you can still watch the entire season and then buy it when/if it comes out.

If they can come out with a fifth series that must mean that there is more demand for the series than might have been thought.

This is great but couldn't they come up with a better title?
Oh well, that seems to be a be common problem so I won't pick on Slayers .

I know. But it's more personally rewarding this way, I think.
Slayers is one of my top favorite anime, no doubt, but i'm sure that I can find things to hold my interest until then. And i'd rather not contribute to the whole fansub market, anyway.
Just a matter of personal prefrence, really. I have the patience for it.
After all, I waited years after watching a tiny bit of the 4Kids dub of One Piece and then swore i'd never watch another minute of their version...
...and then, even when I never thought anyone else would ever pick it up, FUNimation's far superior version was released and I wasn't too spoiled by the ruined expectations of 4Kids's version at all.
And this time, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's picked up... hopefully by FUNi.
I have incredible patience for things, sometimes even waiting up to 5 years for things to happen (although it'd be very nice if it doesn't take that long. )
That way, when there's a Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R DVD available, when I pick it up, it'll be twice as exciting because I'll have no idea what to expect or what the story will be like.

I respect your stance, but what do you mean by this? Watching fansubs isn't giving fansubbers any money.

It'd be great if they could finish the Fansubs before Funi put the kabash on it unlike last time. It'd be better still if they'd license it.
