Seventeen levels of awesome I say. Seventeen levels of awesome.
That aside, any thoughts on how good a car it might be. It'd be a shame if its actually a terrible car. Aren't Fiat cars supposed to be good cars? |

A bit of cursory research shows it has won a bunch of awards in 07/08.

I hope nobody uses one of those to renact the car chase from Castle of Cagliostro. Or even more dangerous, the one from Plot of the Fuma Clan.

I always liked Fiats. Now I guess I know why.
Actually, I lived in Rome for a spring and there was Lupin III merchandise everywhere. There was even one of those terrible low-budget animated rip-offs that you always see for Disney movies over here for. . .The Castle of Cagliostro. Not that I spent much time looking for it (there are, uh, better things to do in Rome), it was just. . .you'd walk by a store, there's be a Lupin III T-shirt in the window, and then one day there would be a new line of Lupin III T-shirts. There was even a police dog named Lupin on TV once, though it was unclear whether he was named after the original character or the anime character. |

I must be a terrible person because I busted out laughing after reading that and imagining someone actually doing that. |

The Nuova 500 is a front engine/wheel drive car where the original was rear engine/wheel. I drove an old 500 when I was looking for me first car. What a bucket of bolts? The gear box was like stirring a bucket of bricks. Riddled with rust. I ended up with a Ford Escort Mk 1.

Fiat's always made "cute, trippy" little cars...so, yay.
I can't really see a whole lot of people on here raving about it... =_= |

Here's a link to a photo of the bike Jorge Lorenzo rode to a fourth place finish at Motegi this weekend.
http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/Lorenzo+to+ride+with+special+livery+on+Sunday+at+Motegi they didn't really show it during the actual race though, just a few flashes of it. Shame since he put it on pole position. |

One problem: How are Otaku going to put this merchandise up on their shelves?

That is pretty cool. I love Lupin, and the car always gets good use in the storyline. Tells you how far to the exterior of the world Lupin has influence on.

If it is a terrible car, we can all say that Fiat stands for Fix It Again, Tony! As far as Fiat cars in general, I couldn't tell you since I've hardly ever seen any on the road in the states. |

Will it have the rear-engined turbocharged flat-6 Porsche engine option, like in CC??
