Spice and Wolf novels? Yes!! That makes me a very happy camper. Yen Press continues to impress me with its catalogue line-up.

I WISH I could find issue #1 of Yen Plus! I can't find it ANYWHERE!! I wonder if it's in Borders? I saw issue two, which is the September 2008 issue. I want the August 2008 issue! Do previous issues of magazines go away when new issues come out?
And another thing. Yen Press is REALLY. DURN. SLOW with their releases! I wish they'd release With The Light more often!! They're releasing it TWICE A YEAR!!!

With the major bookstores, yes, I believe previous issues of magazines are removed when the next issue comes out. I've heard that some online anime retailers are offering back issues of Yen Plus though. You may want to check some of those web sites.

But I don't know much anime retailers. I usually go to Borders to get my manga. I don't have any anime magazines.

Yen Press is my new favorite publisher. Seriously. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Sumomomo Momomo, Wakaba-Soh, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya AND Spice and Wolf?!?!? These guys have pretty much all the manga I've been waiting for...

I couldn't find Issue #2 at Borders (Although I found one copy of Issue #1 there), but I happened to find Issue #2 at my local Save Mart =3
With the Light is amazing! I enjoy that series very much

Fantastic licenses!! Yen just keeps managing to impress and surprise me with how well they're doing and how quickly they're becoming a "threat" in the manga publishing industry here in the States.
Now, let's see some Twinkle Stars announcement and I can die happy.

I couldn't get into the Hero Tales anime, I doubt the manga will change my mind. I guess I expected something a little more original from FMA's Hiromu Arakawa.
Spice and Wolf will be a good read, I'll be looking forward to that one. Now we just need for the anime to see a license.

Great news about Spice and Wolf. Maybe they will pick up Rental Magica later. Yen is the company I would trust with it. (While they are at it they could take the Shana novels away from VIZ )

Oh hell yeah, they picked up the Spice and Wolf novels?!
On top of the Haruhi novel getting licensed, this is probably the second most anticipated light novel I could've asked for.

I just hope they can make these light novels work since everyone else seems to be having problems selling them to people. I'm looking forward to checking out the Spice and Wolf ones. The series sounds pretty cool. (And Yen already had me with the Haruhi novels.)

i think someone did. it was a while back and it was reported on ANN i think. at the very least, Anime Suki was asked to take down the links they had to fansubs.
now we just have to wait for release information.
