During my leisure at work, I happened upon some 411 about Square-Enix's new title "Drakengard".

According to the producer for the game a manga is in the works. You can check out the interview here

From what I read up on this game, it has a pretty f%$#ed up story. Sounds a tad interesting. kinda O/T: Worth a purchase?

Yeah, that's what I hear. Although, from what I gathered on the Gamefaqs message board, it is only "hinted". Still, what the hell was that producer thinking?

Maybe the story takes place in Alabama Wink

I had played and own both games and love them. The stories are 'weird' cause of so much taboo subjects. But I would love to read what happened before the games if the manga does end up being made.
