That means there are fifty episodes, and they have the names for 21 of them.

This should be posted in the encyclopedia forum.
It means that there are 50 episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist that are set to run total.
The encyclopedia only has 21 out of 50 episode titles listed so far.

Well, in the first 10 or so episodes, it jumps around the timeline. It starts out in the "present" time, then it goes back about 3 years to show how they became state alchemist. Once they become state alchemist, it goes back to the present, and continues their story of trying to find the philosipher's stone to regenerate their bodies.

Also, here's some new info that I gathered on FMA as of lately. Courtesy of IGNPS2 & AnimeSuki
- FUNimation has picked up the anime
- Fullmetal Alchemist broadcast will be on Cartoon Network starting on October 2004
Though, prior to that. There'll be promos prior to the anime starting as usual.

Interesting... but it's not unexpected. Frankly I've been enjoying the series greatly, although I figured we'd hear an annoucement at AX, or Otakon instead. It makes sense to push the tie-in with the game, but I really was hoping to get a bit further in the series.

I really like Fullmetal Alchemist. So far, things are getting odd and a little confusing, but I can still make sense of things.

Well, other than DBZ. I know that FUNi has really good actors, like ADV's Monica Rial did FUNi's Kiddy Grade, and she's an exceptionally cool actor. I just hope that she signs onboard with this anime . Who knows maybe Crispin Freeman might be on board as well. Though, all I'm saying is that I can trust the VAs that FUNi hires for this anime.

FUNi does a really good dub job on things, but I've been told that they like the change the music in animes.

Just Dragonball Z and GT. Everything else as far as I know has the original soundtrack save for a few translated openings and endings.
