Um, isn't Del Rey publishing Nodame Cantabile in English?
But yes, congrats to her!

Good for her (not sarcasm). I didn't know Nodame was on-going though. Great anime/manga, can't wait for Paris.

Don't know much about the series or who the father is but congrats. BTW, what does "8D" mean and how is the series title pronounced?

"8D" is just a simley face, and the manga title is pronounded "No-da-may can-ta-beel."

I thought it was pronounced "can-ta-bee-lay"? At least, that's what the katakana spelling of the title implies and it's what my music teachers have told me. But either way, congratulations to Ninomiya-sensei! That's one lucky new father.

Yay for both. I loved the live-action, and the manga is just as good. Can't say the same for the anime.

Oddly for me, it is the opposite. I didn't like the live action, but I loved the manga and the anime.
But personal preferences aside: Congrats to Ms Ninomiya!

I dunno, the live-action was more funny, even though they cut out parts and was a bit over the top. More enjoyable.
But yes, congrats. Wonder if it's a boy or a girl... And whether she'll name it after one of her characters.

Sometimes you have to take that time off, I'm glad she's thinking about the baby. And she's intent on coming back to bring out more for the series, unlike some hiatuses we've seen where we have had no idea when the hiatus will end.
