Hi, I was wondering when the US/Canada release date for Appleseed is. I've been searching for it but can't find it, would greatly appreciate it if someone would let me know. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the appleseed movie? There is no North American release date yet, the North American licensor hasn't even been announced yet.

Yes, that's the movie. Thanks for the info, hopefully we'll hear soon of it's North American Release.

Not likely. The movie comes out in Japan in April, so the DVD won't come out in Japan till ohh... september at the most likely earliest. Generally Japan doesn't want DVDs out stateside until a couple months after the Japanese release, so lets say the earliest it is out will probably be early next year, meaning that we won't hear about a release till late this year.
However, we might hear about it being licensed at one of the larger cons this summer. All this is speculation on my part. |

At least the big movies seem to have english subtitles on their japanese DVD release. If it has subtitles I will not wait for a western release in this case.
So I am wondering about the date seen in the trailer. Is it the theatrical or the DVD release date? |
