That anime Zillion has never been heard from for a long time. I wonder if there will be a remake or will that be never? Before Zillion, I recognized that game as one of Sega's game and later I came to discover that Zillion was an anime all along. Why is there no more Zillion? Question

Some answers will help. Confused

Probably because no one's ever heard of it. I know I haven't.

It's an unremarkable 20+ year old series whose time has come and gone, and only five episodes of it were ever licensed and released in the States. It's no wonder no one talks about it.

I see. It's just I first heard of it as a video game and like I said, I knew about anime at the time. I was a frickin' coward of enjoying Japanese entertainments until after I graduated from high school.

That's all. If only I knew what the anime was about... Confused

It was popular enough to have graced the cover of a few anime magazines and had it's share of posters and pinups when it came out and probably has about as big of a following as Shurato or Borgman. Much like these contemporaries it was not big enough to spawn a franchise or even have its own artbooks as far as I know. I recall the series had a decent OST though.
