I usually stay a mile away from live action anime adaptions but I gotta see this. Was one of the first animes I ever watched.

Wow, that is so crazy!! I was looking up stuff on it today randomly. What I REALLY want is a longer anime series, but figured this was way out of the public conciousness that it's more or less impossible. Maybe with this live-action series interest will pick up and it will come true! Haha, probably not... Here's hoping though! =D

Oh wow, I've wanted to see the OVA for a while, but a j-drama is even BETTER!
(and hi Emerje I never actually ran into you here before)

Definitely something to keep an eye out for. Reminds me that I still need to buy more of the manga. ^^;

Wow this is old!
When we first watched this, we thought it resembled our totally crazy freshmen dorm building (the whole 4-floor co-ed building belonged to the same 200-member special interest student association, and the whole place was an animal house - think newly adults unsupervised for the first time in their lives)!

People will regularly say that once a series becomes a certain age (always a made-up number) it has no chance of finding new life. I love it when something like this comes along and turns that theory on its head. Though, while part of me hopes that they come up with a new anime series or a continuation (ala Oh My Goddess) at some point, there is a certain charm to the OAV skipping bits of the manga that would be hard to replace (though probably make for a wholly better story).
Whatever they choose to do with the Drama I REALLY hope they cast Shun with a girl and not a guy in drag, that just wouldn't be as fun.

Yo! Probably because my posting has been a bit sporadic in the last year. I'm trying to work on that...

This is exciting! I started reading the manga not that long ago, and it really charmed me. I think it'll work great as a dorama, too

HECK YES. This news made me gasp aloud. I am totally excited for this. I love Here is Greenwood so much, so this is quite exciting! Maybe it'll breathe some new life into the fandom somehow, haha. I can't wait to see what the cast list is like!

Praise Tezuka!
First the H2 dorama and now this.
Pity they didn't get a longer anime series, but a drama is quite good, too.

Excellent news~. This is one of those shows/manga that's just all-around fun, but few have been exposed to it, so maybe this drama will help put it back in the spotlight.

I... AM...SO... HAPPY! I hope they can cover the more wacky arcs and maintain the humor without it getting too ridiculous in real life. Like the ghost girl storyline. This is going to be SO AWESOME.
