Ok so the collector's edition came with a really weak paper casse for the anime DVD inside.
Looking through the intruction booklet before I played the game (I may be one of like the few people who actually does that) I saw an ad towards the back that said to go to ADVfilms.com for "A totally evil case for Volume1!" and "A $5 off coupon towards your purchase of [DMC AS] Volume 2 with [LE] Collectors Box". So I go on their site and there isn't anything remotely related to Devil May Cry on their front page. Then I typed "Devil May Cry" into their search box and Chrono Crusade popped up. So was anyone who purchased the collectors edition able to order that extra case (w/ a $3.99 shipping and handling charge)? |

I'd be really happy if they went through with the Devil May Cry anime though. :/ What happens to all the people who bought this? Someone on another site brought up the idea of false advertising. Would this qualify? It's such a let down. |

Well thank you for that link it answered many questions. It is stupid they would print it on the book and then turn around and not offer it.
Guess I won't be purchasing the Devil May Cry anime. I miss Geneon. |

Well don't count them out yet. The anime may still be coming out, and that coupon may still be good. It's just they might be very late and delayed that's all. But I am not going to blow smoke and roses up your ass like some people will either. What you are thinking very well may happen as well. But no one knows for sure. |

But it's not I don't plan on buying it because it's removed from their website, it's that I have volume one in a damn slipcase paper/cardboard piece of crap. I was hoping it somehow fit perfectly inside the case with the other 2 disc but I was so wrong. No doubt that anime fans are weird, but i like my shelf to be full of only complete series or story arcs I like. Only a volume 2 and 3 on the shelf kinda messes up my whole system. So I already acquired the title with subtitles from fans anyways. Watching and reading FMA i realised equivelent exchange is not a bad thing. They lie, I steal, All is well with the world. |
