Ooo, Nagisa's gonna love this one.

I would say Spirited Away or Urusei Yatsura Movie 2: Beautiful Dreamer.

Blue Submarine is a good show, IMO.... doesn't often get much love.

Tonari no Totoro or Laputa is probably my favorite.

You miss the joke. The original, uncut OVA, yes, is very good. The squished-together "movie" hacked up & cranked out for Toonami...yeah, no. Razz

I think Nagisa is refering to the fact that Blue Sub is an ova not a movie. The one shown on Cartoon Network was spliced into a movie atleat i think, I could be wrong. Gnollman did you rent Blue Sub from blockbuster. Because I rented it from blockbuster and was one tape and was spliced into a movie. I'am unusre if it was edited, though it said uncut on the box.

Anyway for me It would be The End of Evangelion. I just love Evangelion.I haven't seen alot of anime movies and have to yet to the Rahxephon movie

You can get the oiginal Blue Submarine No. 6 now on one disk for about the regular price of one dvd. Actually, it's been out for a while.

Favorite Movie? Man, it's really hard to pick just one. If I could only pick one, I guess it would have to be Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

It was also pretty badly edited. If you've ever wanted to know where the classic "smoking a toothpick" thing got its start, then you need look no further than BS#6. Laughing

Frankly, I'm not much for the movies. But... I'd say Mononoke Hime or AA! Megami-sama.

Both had fabulous animation, a little bit of myth and fantasy, a little love, and a little action.

Nope. Saw the first two OAVs in Japan, and when Bandai put it out, had to have it.

Spirited Away. When I rented it, I watched it 4 times... and I didn't want to let it go at the end. I could have watched it again, despite sitting through 2 back-to-back viewings.

Although I enjoyed CCS: The Sealed Card, it was disappointing to me that at the end spoiler[they couldn't have at least hugged. 30 seconds more animation for a nice little hug at the end! Is that so much to ask?!? That's all I wanted! Arg.]

Spirited Away is good but not good enough for my favorite anime movie. I really liked (Princess)Hime Mononoke(Sp?) and the worlds of humans, demons, and nature versus each other. The conclusion is good too and I'm glad it turned out that way.
