Actually, I'm kind of glad to hear this in a way--Gentlemen's Alliance could only go on for so long before it started to bore me (like Hana-Kimi has--that story does not need 23 volumes to be properly told), so I'm glad it's presumably not going to go on for longer than the story reasonably allows. Plus, new story, yay!
Also, wasn't her first title Short-Tempered Melancholic?

Yay!!!!! I'm so excited too! GA was too long, and not very pleasing, so I hope that "Mistress Fortune" will be as good as Full Moon or Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne.

This excites me greatly, although it's sad to see Gentleman's Alliance end, since it's my favorite so far. I'm looking forward to her new series, though. Can't wait!

Yay! I do like Shinkuro, but I'm glad it's ending soon. I haven't been properly following its chapters in ages... I think I need some new Arinacchi blood.

Heh, as much as I love Arina Tanemura's works, her characters designs really do usually end up looking alike in any of her manga.

She's getting a bit better with this, but I agree that her characters (especially the girls) tend to look the same.
I remember the first time I read one of her manga (Time Stranger Kyoko), I got so confused because I thought that all the girls were Kyoko. I was like "Kyoko was abused? Kyoko is also a Flower Stranger?," etc.

I'm unfortunately guilty of confusing Haine and Ushio in the earlier chapters of Gentleman's Alliance.

It's like the Yuu Watase syndrome
[lol no offense but alot of her characters tend to look the same too >.>]
I read some of GA but it was a bit confusing to me

I didn't get the Gentlemen's alliance. I thought it would end in like... 3 volumes. But it didn't, much to my amazement. I was thinking, "wait, this is still going on? How does she do it without recycling plots?"

Easy, she just keeps piling on new plots until nobody knows what's going on. (I pretty much lost it after the ACTUALLY, SO-AND-SO IS AN EVIL TWIN part...)

It is sad that Gentlemen's Alliance is ending. It's my favorite from Tanemura.
I'm not even going to even dare to read Mistress Fortune though.
The longer title just scares me.
Absolute Awakening Angel Mistress Fortune?
yeah. kinda creepy.
