This looks awesome. I hadn't been interested in it before, but I think I'll pick it up now! Congrats Rightstuf!

Well, nothing I'm interested in at all, but congrats to those who were waiting for this. I'm still happy with Nozomi's other two licenses of Emma and Maria-sama.

First they license Marimite, now they have Aria, two titles I never thought would see this side of the Pacific. If I could go to Iowa, I'd kiss the shoes of the first RightStuf employee I meet.

It's directed by Junich Sato the creator behind the masterpeice "Kaleido Star."

I'll be looking foward to it.

Ok I'm quite confused and happy at the same time. I mean I wanted ARIA to come onto DVD but can someone (or the person who wrote the article), please confirm this:- What is actually licensed? The whole ARIA franchise or just ARIA the animation?

Glad to see this released in the season box set format, at very low price and without dubs. Right Stuf, you know how to cater to the hardcore crowd.

With all that said, I may be watching this directly from the DVDs for the first time.

According to the press release, they acquired all three seasons.

Needless to say I'm very happy about this license. The only downer is the lack of an English dub (I wonder if this is what Nozomi will be doing for now on Confused ), but I love the manga and I'm a huge Junichi Sato fan so I'm definitely pre-ordering this baby when I get home from work today. Cool

You know, I've never bought a series blind, but I've heard a lot of good things about this and had wanted to pick up a fansub of it (not happening now), but given that it's the entire 13 episodes for just under $40, I might just grab it.
