This is awesome to see and according to the video, that update is also coming to Capcom Fighting Collection 1 and 2. One disappointment though: no cross-platform play!!!
I mean Capcom vs SNK 2 on Dreamcast and PS2 in Japan (US/North America and elsewhere outside of Japan didn't have this) was the first game to have cross-platform play before the feature is now cool today. Are we going to have cross-platform play in later update for the game given Capcom vs SNK 2 was the first to have done that many years ago despite it was exclusive for Japanese players. Capcom should implement cross-platform play for all 3 collection (including Capcom Fighting Collection 2 which as Capcom vs SNK 2) so PS4/5, Xbox, and Switch gamers can play against one another regardless of what console or PCs each gamers/players used. |
