Ad Pop-Ups in the United Kingdom

Here in Huntingdon, Cambrigeshire, United Kingdom for some work for a few weeks.

Noticed that the ad pop-ups on the left side expand to the right many times, which makes reading the news and articles, and forum topics almost impossible. Didn't see this happen in the United States, when I was home.
