Oh no, he was a big part of my childhood. Hopefully he comes out of this fine.

This is very sad to hear I’ve loved Transformers since I was a kid, I wish him nothing but the best.

Well, that's just not prime. Beast Wars was my favorite Transformers series I wish him all the luck in his recovery.

As one of the most impactful voices of my chilhood (I watched Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and the entire Unicron Trilogy) this hurts hard.
I wish Gary Chalk the best of health.

Let's all hope that Mr. Chalk gets better. Although Stage 4 cancer might seem like he's heading out the door right now, let's not lose hope. He might pull through. You just never know. He's going to need all the prayers and help he can get. People have survived worse before. Hopefully,he'll survive this and soon. He's got a lot more to do on this earth and let's hope he pulls it off.

Man! That's my Optimus Primal! Beast Wars (Beasties in Canada) was my show as a kid (Along with ReBoot) Sad to hear but all the best Mr. Chalk and his family during this time of need.

Hodgkins lymphoma has a much higher survival rate than most cancers even at an advanced stage. Wishing for the best for him but stage 4 does not immediately spell doom in this case.

As a child of the 80s he voiced so many great characters. And I still enjoy his work today.

I know him as Optimus much more than I do Peter Cullen.
It would be another real loss if he can’t beat it.
