Season 4 Not in Crunchy Winter 2025 line-up so they aren't even airing it non-simulcast, have they dropped season 4 then?

Yeah, I didn't realize the fourth season already aired and we just aren't getting it. We're failing as a society.

Heh, that's odd that Crunchyroll didn't pick up season 4, I wonder what gives and why?

Well, that just means we will have to find it via other means. I didn't even know it had a fourth season. Not very good news for our puppet franchise here in the west.

From what I could find, Aniplex wasn't involved in the production of season 4, so that's one big reason why it never got released in the west.

Found three different subteams for the 4th season. Two of them are active on the show's subreddit. Fansubs in this day and age!

But still, it doesn't mean that there are way for season 4 to find it's way into the US/North America, I mean you got Youtube, Netflix, Prime Video, etc... if CR won't pick this up. I better hope season 4 get picks up one way or another.

Right now anything Chinese is intentionally and automatically snubbed in the US, even among the anime community. Only the fringe gamers give a nod to Black Myth Wukung though no one main stream is talking about it. So it's no surprise something even if it's just adjacent China like Thunderbolt Fantasy takes it collaterally on the chin no matter how excellent the show may be. We are a funny society (and warlike violent too)

Uh, you do know that this is from Taiwan which is not anything related to Mainland China. And this isn't the first time we got something from the company, in 2019, one of their show, Pili Fantasy: War of Dragons was available on Netflix in the US/North America for a limited time back in 2019 until in 2022, it got removed without explanation (I did watched 2 episodes of it when it was on Netflix), and I don't know what the hell happened. But Taiwan and China are not the same!!!

As pointed out this show is Taiwanese and also Crunchyroll has plenty of Chinese animation streaming including Link Click which was fairly popular in the US. And there's tons of Chinese dramas on Netflix that have big fanbases in the US.
