The manga's one of my current favorites and that trailer's looking real good, but boy that seems like an odd pick for director.

Looking at his resume, guy might actually be a good fit. Bokuben was pretty well directed and the director is a bit of an OG with *alot* of experience with older series like Nadia and Love Hina on his resume. That experience with older anime could be an asset with this one considering it's style.

I love the art style, even if the main character isn't my cup of tea looks-wise.
Judging by the synopsis I assumed it'd just be a romance in a dypstopian setting for no reason, but looking at the trailer there's more going on. I'll Definitely check it out

I've been DEVOURING the manga as fast as I can. It's been so long since I've been excited and able to appreciate something new. Usually when I try new media, I'm let down, but this story has kept me guessing and theorizing and blathering to my best friend about each development. I also related to Mayuzuki-san on several points when an interview with her was released around the time "Kowloon Generic Romance" was becoming available, so I'm very pleased to be supporting her work either way. When this is available with subtitles, I really hope it's on Netflix, 'cause odds are good I'll eat it up all over again, like Kujirai-san eats watermelon and lemon chicken.

I hope it gets sexy. Doesn't have to be risque, but if it doesn't get sexy, they miss the point.
