Of the three I've read so far:
* Loved "Your Throne" - gorgeous art and great characters in a compelling story - way better than I expected (5/5 stars) * Liked "Under the Oak Tree" quite a lot - another beautiful production with a story that, while not a whole lot happens in this volume, still has enough to make me look forward to volume 2 (4/5 stars) * Unfortuntely "Finding Camellia" didn't work for me - the story was too shallow and predictable and the main character was too passive - I'll have to pass on this one sadly (2/5 stars) I'll probably check out "Beware the Villainess" since I'm a constititionally unable to NOT try tevery. single. one. |

Link to Checkmate is broken.
Also, while I don't have any personal objection to this feature…
These have been in the FAQ roughly since early 2004 and early 2007, respectively (per the Wayback Machine). In the past month you've had proper reviews for See You in My 19th Life and Punch Drunk Love, and now this. You've also had news coverage of Chinese animation like A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized (though not reviews or Preview Guide entries). Is the FAQ due for an update? (Also, I notice another answer says, "In late May the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect." That was in 2018, so it might be due for an edit.) |

Oh man, I read Perfect Buddy a while ago. I stuck with it for a bit, but ended up dropping it. Too many annoying plot elements began piling up, and the “top” began getting too pushy.

I've read a good chunk of "Under the Oak Tree" on Manta and found it compelling. The amazing art helps. It is one of the sweetest romances I've read.

It feels like K-comics have slowly but steadily become source material for J-anime anyway. Really hope Your Throne gets one someday (and with good art direction if not animation) because it is fantastic.

Pity "Your Throne" doesn't have a digital option, I found the reviews most intriguing for it. Never heard of the publisher before, so there might not ever be one.
Picked up "SSS Class Revival Hunter" and "Beware the Villainess" based on your reviews. Thanks. Sounds like the Omegaverse is something that the Answerman could get into. Is it like the Naruverse, or is it more of a theme. |

The publisher is the physical arm of the Webtoon site (www.webtoons.com), so their theory is that there's already a digital copy available - you read it on their site. But it's also a pay-to-play model, so you buy coins that you use to buy chapters, so it's definitely not as easy as just picking up a full e-book.
Omegaverse is...I guess "theme" works? It's a specific type of world that came out of fanfiction where genders are further divided so that there are alphas, betas, and omegas, with omegas of any gender being able to become pregnant by any gender of alphas. It's an acquired taste; I've liked some omegaverse stories without actually liking the genre as a whole. |

Thanks for the info. Your right, it is not going to be easy, unless they offered full volumes. |
