This is a surprise, I just started the first volume of the manga and good so far. I wasn't expecting an anime to be announced this early.

The premise is not horrible, and has nothing to do with pedophilia or grooming. That is hardly uncommon fiction scenario that I've seen several times in version for both genders, where there is - usually down on their luck, depressed, sometimes even suicidal - protagonist, that encounters hot monster lady or hunk, or sometimes whole harem of them, who then proclaim that MC is special and object of their desire, often with hunger or thirst for MC's body or fluids clearly coded as sexual lust. The description is barely different from your average hot vampire fiction, like last season's "Vampire's Dormitory", which as a genre has nothing to do with pedophilia.I'm not saying though the quality of this manga can't be better than average vampire harem, the focus is clearly on MC's depression, not on romance, at least as far as I've read. |
