I heard about this story a little bit ago, and the concept of expulsion room got me to wondering if the expectation of staying long after business hours still applied. If a company uses the lack of tasks and subsequent boredom to get somebody to "choose" to leave, is it now ok for them to go home on time?

They developed like a Million Copy-Paste Dragonball, OnePiece Naruto Games. The World wont be sad that finally stops.
They could also cancel every other already known Title and try to Focus on New Stuff that could actually Sell well for once. Also advance update Engine.

They did not mention Dragonball, only One Piece and Naruto.
I'm satisfied with no more Naruto games as I feel the series has already had it's arena fighter swansong and the only future games to be made would be involving new Boruto characters which I have no interest in.
I would really like Tales to be relevant again but sadly after the middling Arise I am not confident in that series much anymore.

arise definitely had lots of potential, it was only thwarted by it being out of the oven too soon. it definitely still needed a bit more polishing and still does (tho mods cover that itch for now)

Just another reason to dislike them.

Hope this doesn't affect the planned Steam Tales of Graces remaster?

^^^
I THINK they might even have to resort to more remasters for quick cash grab. Whether that's enough to stop the bleeding is another question.
Development of brand new games or IPs, on the other hand...
