For those hearing for the first time about the "Chaos Dragon" award, it's kind of a running gag from our first-ever ranking (Summer 2015). Chaos Dragon was a series that was so disastrously bad it stayed at the very bottom of the ranking for the entire season, and gave rise to a legend.

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World has been delayed indefinitely and probably should be dropped from the rankings.

Yatagarasu is somehow in second place despite only airing one episode this cour at the time of this ranking. Or perhaps because there's only one episode to rate.

Plus-Sized Elf has ranked last each week in not just the cumulative, but the weekly rankings as well. It'd be a new low if it manages to sweep last place in the weekly rankings as well.

Not gonna lie, wasn't expecting people to like Fairy Tail so much.

I always thought hating the thing was a meme and nothing more, but not to this degree.

It's been done before, but only by GoHands. Looking back through the archives, only Hand Shakers and its sequel W'z have pulled off the fabled Super Chaos Dragon. If Plus-Sized Elf manages it, it'll be the first in five years, though that does include a nine-season period where the column wasn't running (which most notably includes EX-ARM).

A few others have come close. Don't Hurt Me, My Healer!, Junji Ito "Collection", King's Game The Animation, and Big Order each had all but one or two episodes at the bottom. The Infinite Tsukuyomi arc toward the end of Naruto Shippūden also had a pretty impressive performance, starting around the time Chaos Dragon ended.

You aren't Zrnzl5000? He would always bring up Chaos Dragon as the worst anime of all time when discussing any bad anime and we had some disagreement on that account as I've seen worse. Since we've seen Super Chaos Dragon shows according to ShayGuy, maybe we should revise the "award" to the "Handshaker Award"? Smile Or maybe have a "Garzey's Wing" award?
