If you dont count intros and ending times, the average runtime per ep is 20 min so this is at least 6 ep worth of material, average volume is adapted in 4 eps so this does not look like it will be too bad of a paced adaptation.

It kind of had to be lengthy when it's an arc, rather than a standalone movie.

Then again, Overlord's anime adaptation is notorious for butchering most of its source material, rushing through storylines, omitting character arcs and outright simplifying the entire storytelling to be point A to point B instead of a thrilling twisted narrative.
This is great news, but I'm not holding my breath, these are two long books (the second of which the longest in the entire series by a long shot) in the entire series being adapted.

This is a pleasant surprise. I was worried that they were rushing it as it felt like too much for a movie, but if they're just doing a massive movie it might work out well.
