It'll be interesting to see what the final and edited film looks like.

and Bones studio President Masahiko Minami led this adaptation

Hm... What? I'm pretty sure Minami is not involved in this at all. I guess Pinon just confused him with Yūki Nagano, who was a producer from Bones responsible for Mob Psycho 100 (only the first season) and Snow White with the Red Hair, and is one of the leads of Studio Durian alongside Oshiyama.

I was surprised by this as well when I read it. I assumed though that Pinon had the information correct and didn't look into it. But I see no mention anywhere of Minami or Bones being involved in this project at all.

I'll take a quick look behind the scenes and get it corrected.

We asked the writer about this, and the reference was mistranslated in the English version of the review. There wasn't a natural way to fit it in the English sentence for flow, so we've removed it.

I just got to see this at the Japan Society in NYC, absolutely amazing movie. I went in completely blind and it didn't disappoint at all even with all the hype.

I didn't notice any weirdly silent parts near the end so I assume that was finished, and I'm glad. The music was one of the highlights and it def feels missing as I'm reading the manga. I'm only halfway through atm but it feels like almost a perfect adaptation, if one could exist.
