So did they have issues with getting YunYun's voice actress for this episode. When I saw her in the preview I was excited, and so disappointed she barely spoke. Her only line was reciting a spell which could easily have been recited in a previous episode. So yeah my theory there was a issue with voice actress availability.

Season 3, Episode 9
I am not entirely happy with it again being used so strongly as a joke, but I figured out rather quickly the deal with the nobleman. When it was said about wrong for a nobleman to love adventurer I figured it would have to be another character he liked, and when he said he wanted a picture I went straight to knowing that it was Dust he liked. Figured pretty even quicker that his idea of taking pictures of himself in underwear would be giving him exactly what the nobleman would want. All fair, I am okay with some acknowledgement of queer people in the show, but really could do without it feeling so predatory with the idea of Dust being attacked. A really dated joke at this point, and mostly in poor taste.
The other part of the episode pretty great though. Great when Aqua's random buff was actually amazingly useful in allowing him to mimic people. Him totally messing up Darkness/ Lalatina's reputation to all of the staff, who apparently had only heard of rumours. And then the total hijinks that she threw away the pride in chasing after Kazuma in her nightgown, with everything in front of her father really just showing that the two of them are good friends who are just the silliest. Kazuma's final escape becoming totally pathetic in hurting himself too much in trying to jump out a window and running back to Aqua for "heals".

Ep10-Well, it took me some cross-checking due to the off-color hair, off-character voice and red/gold outfit befitting Megumin but with the larger bust and blue eyes, the "best in the land" priest was Aqua! Got a kick out of her dig about "...keeping with the laws laid down by some other god, not me..."

I only now watched the last episode. I struggled to get back into the world Konosuba at first with this 3rd season. I'm not exactly sure why I wasn't vibing with this season at first. Maybe I had forgotten how douchy Kazuma could be and it took me a while to get used to it or maybe he just wasn't getting enough comeuppance for his bad behaviour. Nonetheless I think the show found its footing after some episodes and I started enjoying the usual Konosuba shenanigans. I still think this was weakest season of Konosuba (discounting the spinoff). I'm giving this a reluctant Good rating while all the other mainline Konosuba entries were firm Very Goods.
I feel like a dirtbag for saying this but I kinda found Kazuma's opportunistic sexual harassment (or more like assault) of Chris to be some of the funniest moments in this season.

Yeah, that's more or less my sum-uppance, and I pretty much took the same route getting there. I might add that one of the things that made Kazuma more annoying than usual for me was the way it was dragged out. They spent too much time with Kazuma enjoying being treated like a pampered poodle in the castle, and a little too much time with Kazuma sulking after Darkness rejected his help. It wasn't that he didn't get slapped down or come around, but that it took too long.
I've watched and rewatched the first two seasons from beginning to end. If I ever watch this season again - and I might because there were some funny bits and episodes to be sure - I'll make liberal use of the fast forward button.
That said, the season got stronger as it went along, and it's not like it crapped the bed. In fact, if the show was this same quality and in its first run, I would be saying that it was better than a lot of bargain bin isekai and that I'd like to see another season. But because it had a great two hella great seasons prior, it feels a bit likes its squandering a legacy and is in decline. Instead of hoping for another season, I'm worried that it would just continue to slide like so many shows when they start to go downhill. Of course, I felt the same way about Is it Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon after season 2, and it's had up and down seasons like a rollercoaster...

I don't think there was anything wrong with you, I had found the first there episodes had a problem with a lack of comedic setup and payoff which had worked so well in past seasons and is in general a must for comedy to work. Not sure if they got another writer, but at Ep4 the writing rediscovered the formula and got back to being it's old self. My biggest issue was the artwork being frequently off-model causing the shifts to be jarring.
