I was thinking much the same thing, but I suppose there's such a thing as momentum. No doubt we'll see a few more "nonessential" proddings.

Most likely winter 2025. Maybe even fall.

It was known from the start.

Niot surprpising, but probably won't continue watching it. It's a decent power fantasy, but I really don't get the hype. Maybe it all gets better later on, but this first season did rather little to show what made this so popular.

I thought it was pretty interesting at the start; spoiler[the protag's initial circumstances and reset were genuinely pretty compelling]. Since then, though, he seems to spoiler[increasingly be on his own against dungeon critters we have no real reason to care about, we see more and more RPG-style stat screens, and.. over all of this, the way the narrative just so directly grants only him incredible system-breaking powers, is pretty interest-killing?] The studio/staff producing it are still executing really well, but I definitely feel myself less excited each time I remember it's on.

You may as well jump off, most fans agree the first half is better than the second half. Granted, we won’t reach the halfway point until season 3 at least, but still.

I'm kind of surprised this didn't get 2 cours right out of the gate.

Not surprising in the least. Hopefully the second season will look better than the first and A-1 will be able to maintain that quality throughout the season.

To the surprise of no one.

Hope A-1 can deliver as well as they did for season 1.

Given how popular this is this isn't very surprising. But cool nevertheless.
