Hoping it's a ZOM 100 type of deal where it's on CR/Hulu. Doubtful though.

I don't have an issue with their dubs, but am I the only one who finds Hulu's CC subtitles unacceptable in today's age? They really can't compete with a proper anime streaming site like Crunchyroll this way.

And I'm guessing here in Latin America Star+ will handle the simulcast which is a really bad thing considering how much time took them to release Bleach here, hell even with Undead Unluck which the lastest update for that series is the 11th episode. I would be fine if it was on Netflix, Max or Prime Video, but that's how things will be for now. And I'm still waiting for the so much said CR monopoly to be a thing here in México, you all rich ass gringos can have all the competition you want, for what I care.

It's unacceptable for anything. When I tried using my TV's app, the subtitles would start to lag behind. On PC, the timing was perfect, but a few months ago the subtitles no longer disappear between lines. They just... persist until the next line happens. Even if that takes seconds due to there being no dialogue or minutes due to the OP or ED happening. I have no idea why someone thinks it's acceptable to keep it this way, whether it's intentional or a bug.
Netflix is also bad, since subtitles for signs always end up in the same place as the dialogue, but at least it's workable.

See, this all the way. I don't enjoy viewing things with fan subs, but when the official subtitles actually strain my eyes-
My lawyers have advised that I not finish that thought.
In all seriousness though, I only watch things on Hulu or Netflix if they have particularly good dubs. If not, well, there are many other ways that sadly don't profit the creators but also don't hurt my eyes or give me headaches to read.
Hidive (Sentai in general really) has one good dub from my experience (Princess Principal). They have some that are okay, and maybe if it's a silly comedy or fanservice show, I'll settle for okay and try watching the dub on Hidive, but am I really gonna watch Call of the Night, Clannad After Story, or God forbid, Made in Abyss with English dubs that can't hit me the same way as the original?
Hidive has terrible subtitles and mediocre dubs. Every year or two I check back and try to watch something on there again just to see if they've improved and every year I'm shown troubling results.
Basically, Crunchyroll and Retrocrush seem to be the only places that stream anime with decent subtitles. They aren't even fantastic or anything (Crunchyroll needs to subtitle their OPs and EDs and RC has the subtitles a bit too close to the bottom of the screen), but for some reason their streaming subtitles are still better than Sentai's official home release subs and dubs!
I went off topic a bit, but Hulu (basically Viz Media's hub for their titles) needs to stop with these weird closed captions that take up too much of the screen and detract from the experience.

Bang Zoom was also confirmed to be producing a dub.
Looking forward to it!

Ugh, I don't have Hulu and have been avoiding it. This is the one show I was really looking forward to and now it's going to die in Hulu Hell.
