For those who have seen it, is it a continuation of the series, or a Re-Telling? I am pretty sure it's a re-telling but I'm not 100% positive. And, either way, is it good?

It's a re-telling. And yes I found it to be fairly good, for managing to condense the entire series into 90 minutes or so. Also it was nice that a lot more information was presented upfront. It definitely makes a nice companion to the series, but I wouldn't take it OVER watching the entire series. And the animation is once again, top-notch.

Oh yeah, and one more question, it's not out in the US yet is it? I have yet to see it at stores so that could be the answer, but just making sure.

Nope not out in the US yet... I think it was realeased theatrically in the latter half of last year in Japan. I'm not sure if ADV has the rights to this as well, but I would certainly think so. So it's probably only a matter of time.

I finally had the chance to watch it yesterday.
It is a retelling of the story of RahXephon however, some things are different (which I won't mention) and it is more related to love story. |
