Considering how the main story's been going, I've been expecting an EoS announcement for the first half of this year. That said, recent story developments have been fascinating.

I'm also way behind on the Recollections of Dusk mode, so I'll have to catch up during these last few months.

In case you want to edit the article: "Act II: The Return" was released for the global version of the game at the same time Japan got it, and the same will be true for "Act III: Transmigration". As it's worded, the article seems to note that only Japan is getting/has gotten these chapters on those dates.

A Square Enix mobile game shutting down, no way, so surprising.

Hopefully this leads to a proper Nier 3 announcement.

Gotta love how that last chapter comes out on March 28th and they only give players an almost-30 day window to have their fun & then toss off.

Lizuka pretty much took the words out of my mouth - I cant remember who I was talking to about it recently but everyone in the space & aware of SE's practises were pretty much counting the days until SE pulled the plug here. It's frankly quite shocking that Final Fantasy XI is still running after all of this time with how they treat some of these games of theirs.

With live service games and GaaS the basis premise is if the game is still making enough money after launch you’re going to keep it around for a long while. If it’s not you’re going to die a quick and miserable death or “forced into hospice care” before you keel over.
