It's amazing how much better the show is with some sort of central plot element to drive it. I ended up actually caring about them getting the movie made.

And it's all downhill from here.

The show has it's faults and Kazuya is sometimes a hard protagonist to stand with his antics, but I think they really pulled through on the character development and emotional arc of the season, especially with Chizuru.

Also Mini is the best.

I had the exact opposite opinion of Yaemori. I loved her crazy weeb energy and how much she was trying to push Chizuru and Kazuya together, especially when it was coming from somebody who hasn't been around the first two seasons, making it all the funnier.

Plus, it was nice to have a girl that wasn't part of the "harem" and instead more of a non-romantic wing-woman. Breath of fresh air.

Yeah bad take with Mini. It’s thanks to her that Kazuya was being more daring with Chizuru and making their relationship actually go forward to begin with.

Agreed with the others, Mini saved the show for me and was the first time it felt like things were finally moving thanks to her actions without being annoying.

I also agree with everyone in the comments, and I'm glad I'm not alone because I was really surprised reading the review's opinion of Yaemori, and I thought maybe I had a bad judgment call. Yaemori was a very refreshing and exciting addition to the cast. She was a catalyst for so much and talked sense into both of the characters many times. Her actions always served to hasten the plot, which is something I'll always invite when Ruka basically derails every bit of momentum we get.
