A friend of mine said that he saw a sequel to the Batard DVD that came out a while ago but i have not seen it at all no matter where i have searched, was just curious if anyone here might have seen or heard of it.

Your friend is lying or is mistaken. The only continuation is the manga.

He...I wish there was a continuation of the Bastard!! series, but for now I guess I'll stick to the manga (only because I have to Anime hyper ).

But wasn't that a sort of continuation of Sorcerer Hunters? Whatever it was, it was horrible.

The Encyclopedia says it's spinoff, but I'm not at all sure how. You'd think where ADV released both they'd try to capitalize on that rather than saying "A Bastard for the Ages" on the top of the cover. It does mention Sorcerer Hunters on the back cover, but it's really vague in indicting an actual relation other than that their story was long ago and it's from the same creator. Kinda like saying Gundam and Dunebine are related because they have the same creators.

Whatever, it's still a Bastard!! rip off.
