For the manga entries mentioned, would be better to change 'Author' in the article to mangaka, seeing as each one lists the mangaka adapting the story and not actually the author of the original source novel...

Hmm. These are some good licenses.

I'd been interested in Heat the Pig Liver and Finding Avalon.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman is actually an incredibly popular work in Japan right now (or more specifically it's manga adaptation).
Here's a vid about it and I'm going to list excerpts from it in case you have trouble understanding Japanese langauge:
Quote:
An incredibly popular light novel series, "Kata Inaka no Ojisan, Kenshi ni Naru" (The Middle-Aged Man from the Countryside Becomes a Sword Saint), has taken the literary world by storm, amassing an astonishing 3 million copies sold for its manga adaptation in just three volumes. This work has gained such immense popularity that it rivals even the likes of iconic series like "Spy family" and "Jujutsu Kaisen" in terms of sales. The story follows the journey of Beryl, a middle-aged martial arts instructor from a rural area, who suddenly finds himself propelled into the spotlight and recognized for his incredible martial skills after living a quiet, unassuming life. The series is notable for its impressive battle scenes, showcasing Beryl's remarkable combat abilities, and for its well-developed portrayal of a mature, relatable protagonist. Additionally, the series incorporates elements of a harem, as Beryl's talented disciples, mostly female, add depth and interest to the narrative. The manga adaptation is praised for its captivating storytelling, and with its growing popularity, an anime adaptation seems likely in the near future.

I wish J-Novel Club would bring over all the Flos Comic and Zero Sum Iris Tankoban as simulpubs. It’s correctly otome manga.

Unimpressed. It seems the nth power fantasy+harem+RPG world. At least it's not an isekai and has no stat screens.
