At least the studio have more time for production values. I remember hearing criticism about certain episodes when it came to animation

Besides the 2nd episode, everything has looked good so far with. |
They're not really super obvious, but episodes 3 and 4 had some visible problems too. Specially when it came to in-between and compositing works.

Meh those are problems that shows that are never delayed typically get. Wouldn’t use that as proof for a troubled development.

If there are visible issues, then it is very much a case of a troubled development. It doesn't need to be in your face to be proof it exists.

True, though episode 5 had 22 credited animation directors (AoT level of animation directors), which isn't good. Shaft is also doing a lot of heavy-lifting-- for episodes 3 and 5, Bug Films practically entrusted all of the drawing corrections to Shaft, but they're sharing other jobs--and Shaft did the composite work for episode 3, but the director of photography stayed at Asahi Productions. Extremely weird circumstances.
