Yup, kind of expected this one. Unfortunate, as I'd love something with the old-school Suikoden spirit. But after being delayed til 23, then radio silence (as best I've heard, anyway) the chances weren't looking good. Its got a publisher, so I'm pretty sure it will eventually release, if only to recoup what costs they can. But the lack of communication and continual missing of timeframes gives me little hope for the state and quality of the game.

Hopefully I'm being unduly pessimistic. We'll see.

My wish:

Suikoden VI: about Sindar

Suikoden VII: set in Harmonia

Too bad it will never happen.

They post updates every month, so whatever you heard about radio silence is incorrect.

True enough. Not sure how I missed those. My bad. I'll stand by my concern regarding missing their own target dates, but they have been at least saying something to the community.

The two Suikogaidan interactive novel spinoff games were set in Harmonia and the Grasslands between Suikoden 2 and 3..

It's probably for the best. I didn't care for some of the later games, and without the original team on charge I don't have high hopes.
